## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist I - Outpatient to join our team at Atrium Health Physical Therapy in the Greater Charlotte area. As a float position, you will provide clinical coverage to various clinics based on need.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide age-appropriate patient care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles across the lifespan

- Interpret medical records and complete evaluations, establishing patient care plans using evidence-based interventions

- Set functional goals with patients and caregivers, monitoring outcomes and adjusting plans as needed

- Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment, and home instructions

- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, staff, and external customers

- Complete documentation, including patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries

- Maintain compliance with insurance guidelines and department policies

**Requirements:**

- Physical Therapy license in the state of employment

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers

- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred

- Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
