## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our Livonia, MI location. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities:

- Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments

- Implement treatment plans developed by physical therapists

- Provide patient education on proper body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise programs

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Associate's degree in physical therapy assisting or related field preferred

- Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of Michigan

- Ability to lift and move patients as needed

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
