## Description

We are seeking an Engineering Manager VP to lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will drive technical excellence, foster a culture of innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organisational objectives.

- Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management, and task prioritisation to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

- Mentor and support team members' professional growth, conduct performance reviews, and provide actionable feedback.

- Evaluate and enhance engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and optimise team productivity.

- Collaborate with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

As an Engineering Manager VP, you will be expected to:

- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change.

- Manage and maintain policies and processes, deliver continuous improvements, and escalate breaches of policies and procedures.

- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls.

- Collaborate with other areas of work to keep up to speed with business activity and strategies.

Requirements:

- Experience with end-to-end delivery across multiple feature teams.

- Strong track record of delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes.

- Experience driving engineering strategy and organisational change.

- Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture.

- Angular, React, and modern front-end frameworks.

- API-led and event-driven architecture.

- Cloud platforms (AWS).

- DevOps, CI/CD, SRE, and Observability.
