## Description

We are seeking a Head of People & Culture to join our team at Mercure Iguazú Hotel Irú, a 100-room hotel located in Puerto Iguazú, Misiones Province, Argentina.

As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for leading the people and culture agenda across the hotel.

**Responsibilities:**

- Manage the entire employee lifecycle, including selection, integration, training, performance, work climate, and well-being.

- Oversee administration tasks, such as payroll and social security payments, ensuring benefits are applied according to contracts.

- Implement brand policies, self-control processes, compliance policy, data protection, and occupational health and safety law.

- Develop training plans based on identified needs and track mandatory team training.

- Provide guidance to department heads on people-related matters, prepare management reports, and organise internal communication.

- Set area objectives aligned with the company's plan and promote collaboration between departments.

- Lead, select, train, evaluate, and motivate your team.

- Support environmental goals and cover all involved hotels if applicable.

**Requirements:**

- University degree in a related field; hospitality or tourism degree preferred.

- Knowledge of labour legislation, social security, personnel administration, HR subsystems, and Office software; finance knowledge desirable.

- Basic English proficiency; intermediate level desirable.

- At least 2 years of experience in the field; 3 years in a similar role or area preferred.

**Competencies:**

- Skills: negotiation, persuasion, proactivity, effective communication, attention to detail, and interpersonal relationships.
