## Description

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Atrium Health One Health Birkdale Family Medicine in Huntersville, North Carolina.

As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced family medicine setting. You will work closely with our care team to deliver exceptional patient experiences, promote health and wellness, and prevent illness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing routine laboratory tests

- Conduct telephone triage, gathering clinically relevant data and providing guidance to patients according to established protocols

- Document patient interactions and care in the medical record accurately and efficiently

- Track and log ordered laboratory and diagnostic tests, presenting results to providers as needed

- Participate in pre-visit planning with providers and the care team to ensure seamless patient care

- Perform various administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and scheduling appointments

Requirements:

- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of North Carolina

- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

- Previous medical office experience preferred
