Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, provides care to residents of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. Our Omnicare of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, location is one of the larger Omnicare locations in the country.

As a Pharmacist at Omnicare, you will provide routine and emergency comprehensive and accurate drug screening, information, processing, and dispensing services for various drug distribution systems to the centers. You will ensure medications dispensed are clinically appropriate, verify orders entered by technician staff for accuracy, and provide accurate and timely drug information to providers and customer facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring medications dispensed are clinically appropriate

- Verifying orders entered by technician staff for accuracy

- Providing accurate and timely drug information to providers and customer facilities

- Checking for completeness and precision of all new and refill labels and orders

- Checking for content and accuracy of all drug packaging and labeling

- Preparing and/or providing supervision of sterile IV drug products or solutions, as required

- Assisting in maintaining a perpetual inventory for schedule II drugs

- Being knowledgeable of DEA and state law with regards to controlled drug dispensing

- Providing evening, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed by the business

- Following all applicable state and government regulations including HIPAA

This is a full-time position offering 33 to 36 hours per week. Schedule will be Monday-Friday variable shifts, based on the needs of the business spanning day/mostly evening shifts. The weekend rotation is every third/fourth. There is no on-call requirement.

The typical pay range for this role is: $55.53 - $93.08 per hour.

## Skills

### Required
- Pharmacy license in Pennsylvania
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy

### Nice to have
- IV experience
- Long term care experience
