## Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Privacy Compliance to join our team at Capital One Canada. In this role, you will bring together leadership, compliance expertise, and relationship management to help our technology-focused business be dynamic and well-controlled.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Working with the Chief Privacy Officer to oversee the daily operation and administration of the Privacy Program

- Communicating key regulatory developments and changes to stakeholders and assisting with implementation

- Advising business unit stakeholders on the application of federal and provincial regulatory requirements

- Providing effective review and challenge to processes and results

- Liaising with regulators and responding to requests for information and potential breaches

- Participating in regulatory examinations and internal audits

- Investigating and responding to privacy requests, complaints, and inquiries

- Developing and documenting oversight of activities undertaken by the Enterprise Privacy team

- Assisting the Chief Privacy Officer on privacy framework and mandate matters

- Supporting the development and delivery of privacy training

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least 7 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a legal role within a financial institution, telecommunications, or insurance company

- At least 5 years of experience working in the field of Privacy

- At least 7 years of experience working with Canadian banking legislation, laws, industry standards, and regulations

- At least 3 years of experience working with audit and regulatory exams

We offer a competitive salary range of $151,800 - $173,300 per year, plus performance-based incentive compensation.
