## Description

Working as a Store Director at Target involves leading a team to help families discover the joy of everyday life. You will be responsible for managing a large team, recruiting and selecting talent, and driving sales growth. Your typical day will include cultivating a guest-centric and engaged team, owning your store's overall business to drive efficiency, safety, and grow sales.

As a Store Director, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in areas such as retail business financials, guest service fundamentals, and talent management. You will also be responsible for setting and planning total store quarterly business priorities and managing a team to meet sales goals.

Responsibilities:

- Cultivate a guest-centric and engaged team

- Own your store's overall business to drive efficiency, safety, and grow sales

- Lead a team of experts, advocates, and consultants that are passionate about making sure guests get what they came for

- Develop leaders who care about their teams, guests, and each other

- Take accountability in running a profitable growth business

Requirements:

- 4-year degree or equivalent experience

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Team leadership and engagement

- Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis

- Manage conflict and lead and hold others accountable

- Relate well with and interact with all levels of the organisation

- Welcoming and helpful attitude

- Manage workload and prioritise tasks independently

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
