## Description

HyperX is seeking a Senior Industrial Designer to shape the next generation of gaming and lifestyle products. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of professional industrial design experience, a strong portfolio, and excellent skills in sketching, 3D CAD, and rendering.

Responsibilities:

- Lead industrial design efforts from early exploration through production

- Develop and visualize compelling product concepts

- Translate user needs, brand values, and technical constraints into thoughtful design solutions

- Conduct design research and build physical prototypes

- Collaborate with engineering, UX, product management, marketing, and manufacturing partners

- Own design documentation and advocate for the user's point of view

- Present design concepts and recommendations clearly and confidently

- Contribute to the evolution of HyperX's industrial design language and product experience standards

- Mentor and support other designers

Requirements:

- 7+ years of professional industrial design experience

- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership and shipped products

- Excellent sense of form, proportion, ergonomics, and detail

- Advanced skills in sketching, 3D CAD, and rendering

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and CMF implementation

- Ability to translate abstract ideas into clear design solutions

- Experience collaborating with global engineering and manufacturing teams

- Clear communication skills

Nice to Have:

- Experience designing audio products

- Familiarity with software-hardware experience integration

- Experience contributing to design systems

- Exposure to usability testing

- Interest in emerging technologies

The pay range for this role is $116,150 to $182,400 USD annually, with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity.
