## Description

IOM is seeking an International Consultant to support the strengthening of the capacities of Armenian authorities in border security and crime prevention.

The consultant will work on enhancing the border guard training/educational system and standards with European and international best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting needs assessments and reviewing existing training documentation

- Developing a competency framework and curriculum for border guards

- Designing training materials and conducting training-of-trainers sessions

- Providing mentoring and guidance on curriculum implementation and evaluation

The ideal candidate will have:

- An advanced university degree in a relevant field

- At least 10 years of professional experience in border management, security studies, or education

- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and training delivery

- Fluency in English, with proficiency in Armenian or Russian being beneficial

The consultancy is expected to last for 6 months, with a possibility of extension up to 11 months.
