## Job Description

You'll be joining Carta's Inbound Compliance team, managing the intake and resolution of KYC requests on behalf of leading asset managers and private equity firms.

## Responsibilities

- Own the KYC request lifecycle, managing intake, processing, and timely resolution of inbound KYC requests.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for KYC inquiries, providing clear answers on global KYC requirements.

- Review and validate KYC documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with AML, KYC, and international frameworks.

- Maintain accurate records of all KYC requests and documentation in Carta's systems.

- Monitor evolving KYC/AML regulations globally and apply updated requirements to daily work.

## Requirements

- Detail-oriented under pressure, catching what others miss in a high-volume environment.

- Confident and client-ready, with experience in client KYC conversations with senior stakeholders.

- 1-2+ years of compliance experience, with a working understanding of global KYC and AML frameworks.

- Proactive decision-maker, able to assess situations and apply the right framework with minimal supervision.

- Experienced in complex legal entities, with prior exposure to corporate banking or a fund compliance environment.

- A communicator people trust, writing clearly and speaking with confidence.

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AI tools or technology-driven workflows.

- Prior experience in financial or legal services.

- Familiarity with KYC documentation and private markets structures.

- Regulatory framework exposure.

## Salary

- $59,945 - $74,955 in Seattle
