## Description

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a SASE Cloud Software Engineer - AI & Backend to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing features for the HPE EdgeConnect Orchestrator web application supporting SD-WAN deployments.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing and enhancing features for the HPE EdgeConnect Orchestrator web application

- Designing and building scalable backend services and APIs for orchestration, monitoring, and network management

- Implementing and integrating AI-driven workflows that interact with backend systems and data sources

- Contributing to Copilot capabilities for use cases such as troubleshooting, documentation assistance, and analytics

- Working with data platforms to enable real-time insights

- Writing and maintaining unit, integration, and white-box tests to ensure quality and reliability

- Participating in debugging, RCA, and performance optimization across backend and AI workflows

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment

- Contributing to design and architecture decisions with a focus on scalability, performance, and security

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Java and/or Python-based backend software development, 5+ years of experience designing and developing REST APIs and microservices-based architectures, and 2+ years of hands-on experience building, integrating, or deploying AI/LLM-powered applications.
