## Description

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Financial Control team. You will play a key role in ensuring that our corporate and business strategies are supported by effective financial accounting and control processes. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing accurate and timely production of financial information for internal and external reporting

- Reviewing financial performance on a monthly basis with Commercial Finance customers

- Maintaining an awareness of risk management issues across a key Trading area

- Advising Traders/Buyers and Commercial Finance teams on risk and financial control implications of new business initiatives

- Reviewing month-end balance sheet reconciliations

- Delivering process improvements within the team

- Coaching and developing a team of 1 qualified accountant and 1 trainee accountant

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Qualification as an accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)

- Strong technical accounting background

- Leadership experience, particularly in coaching and developing others

- Confidence liaising with people at all levels

- Excellent analytical and communication skills

- Ability to prioritize and make decisions quickly

- Lateral thinking and ability to challenge the status quo
