## Description

We are seeking an Appeals & Representation's Officer to join our Customer Service team at Southwark Council. As an Appeals & Representation's Officer, you will investigate and respond to parking-related correspondence, prepare evidence, and represent the Council at London Tribunals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Investigate and respond to parking-related correspondence, including challenges, representations, and appeals against Penalty Charge Notices

- Prepare evidence and represent the Council at London Tribunals

- Process parking permit and suspension applications

- Deliver excellent customer service by dealing with enquiries relating to parking enforcement, permits, suspensions, and parking payment services

- Manage and prioritise workloads to meet performance targets, quality standards, and statutory deadlines

- Support service improvement by identifying trends, escalating issues, and ensuring parking processes and procedures remain compliant

- Provide guidance and support to colleagues

- Experience of delivering high-quality customer service and handling enquiries in a professional, confident, and customer-focused manner

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, and procedures

- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines

- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Experience of working collaboratively with colleagues, customers, and external stakeholders
