## About the Role

As a Staff/Senior Solutions Engineer at Airwallex, you will collaborate closely with our Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to ensure our partners enjoy a world-class, end-to-end customer experience. You will work with a broad set of stakeholders, from engineers and product managers to C-level executives, to deliver product demonstrations, propose solutions, and ensure successful technical delivery of our products.

## Responsibilities:

- Design solutions to solve critical business challenges for clients throughout the pre-sales, solution design, and implementation processes.

- Develop proof of concept applications, present technical demonstrations, and help clients visualize the successful target state.

- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring client integrations follow best practice guidelines.

- Provide strategic insights to internal product teams on areas of improvement to the implementation process.

- Own outstanding deliverables in the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle.

## Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with strong academic achievements.

- 5+ years of experience in a similar customer-facing engineering role.

- Strong problem-solving mindset, comfortable working with customers, partners, and engineering teams.

- Understanding of at least one major programming language.

- Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.

## Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of the payments domain/financial services.

- Prior experience working on integrations with major accounting platforms.

- Passionate about learning and actively seeks out knowledge.

- Ability to work independently and confidently under ambiguous circumstances.

- Strategic and creative thinker with strong organizational/time management skills.
