## Description

Leidos is seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer in Framingham, MA, who is passionate about electric utility design engineering. The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure high-quality work and maintain Leidos' reputation.

As a Senior Distribution Engineer, you can expect to:

- Lead the development of electrical distribution work packages

- Perform engineering design and analysis

- Conduct QA/QC tasks on assigned teams

- Review engineering design packages with clients

- Perform scope analysis of work assigned and maintain schedule adherence

- Interact directly with clients on a frequent basis

- Provide engineering support during construction

- Coordinate conflicting utilities and other field engineering design requirements

What Sets You Apart (Background Requirements):

- 4+ years of relevant experience working on electric distribution projects

- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial) from an ABET-accredited institution

- Experience and demonstrated proficiency with the National Electric Safety Code (NESC)

- Experience with engineering design quality control

- Familiarity with Pole Loading software and distribution pole analysis

- Ability to utilize a personal vehicle

- Valid U.S. driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous QA/QC experience

- Experience providing estimated costs and development of a BOM

- Demonstrated history of customer interaction

- Proven experience and proficiency with STORMS software and GIS

- Prior leadership experience

The role offers a hybrid work environment, with 3 days/week spent working in the office and 2 days/week working remotely. The pay range for this position is $73,450.00 - $132,775.00.
