## Description

As a Food Brand Deputy Manager (Subway) at Asda Express, you'll lead the in-store Subway operation, driving its success and working closely with the Store Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and developing the Subway operation to ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service

- Supporting the Store Manager in delivering strong commercial and operational performance across the site

- Driving food sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction

- Coaching, training, and developing colleagues to deliver brand standards consistently

- Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety requirements

- Managing stock, ordering, waste control, and product availability within the food operation

- Leading the store independently when required and supporting the wider Asda Express team

- Promoting a positive, inclusive culture where colleagues can thrive and deliver great customer experiences

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

- Experience within food retail, food service, quick service restaurants, hospitality, or a branded food environment

- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and operational compliance standards

- Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams

- Commercial awareness with the ability to drive sales and operational performance

- Confidence working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment

- Passion for delivering excellent customer service and high food standards

- Positive and supportive leadership style, leading by example
