## Description

As Marketing Officer at WWT Slimbridge, you will deliver engaging year-round and event-specific marketing campaigns that drive visitation and increase awareness.

Working across digital, print, PR and content channels, you'll create compelling stories and campaigns that bring the visitor experience to life while helping achieve commercial and visitor growth targets.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine creativity, storytelling and data-driven marketing in one of the UK's leading visitor attractions.

You'll work closely with colleagues across the centre and the wider organisation, helping to promote everything from seasonal events and family experiences to our vital conservation mission.

Through your work, you'll play a key role in connecting more people with wetlands, inspiring action for nature and helping WWT restore wetlands and unlock their power for people and wildlife.

This role is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week 5 days in 7, based at WWT Slimbridge, requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and results-focused Visitor Marketing Officer who can help drive visitation, grow audiences, raise awareness of WWT Slimbridge and support our mission through engaging marketing and communications activity.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Experience delivering marketing and PR campaigns for a consumer-facing organisation.

- Strong digital marketing and social media management experience, including creating engaging content and measuring performance.

- Excellent copywriting, storytelling and communication skills, with the confidence to act as a spokesperson and undertake media interviews.

- Experience working in a visitor attraction, tourism, leisure, heritage or similar customer-focused environment.
