## Description

We are seeking a Legal Writer to join our team at Fragomen. As a Legal Writer, you will provide writing support to our legal teams and work on drafting and writing complex business immigration cases.

Responsibilities:

- Research, analyze, and write complex business immigration cases

- Translate complex terminology into accessible content for petitions to government entities

- Create case strategy and work closely with attorneys on writing projects

- Ensure accuracy of all information with the legal team

- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously

- Possess strong understanding of immigration law and the firm's network of clients, cases, and legal teams

- Apply excellent proofreading and editing skills to case-writing content

- Meet assigned deadlines and communicate case progress to supervisor

- Act as source of technical expertise for the team

- Proactively escalate complex client issues to stakeholders

- Engage, collaborate, and share knowledge with teams locally and regionally

- Assist in continuous review and improvement of practices and processes within the team

- Use Connect and other firm technology accurately

- Follow documented firm standards and policy to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance

Requirements:

- Master's degree or PhD in Creative Writing, English, Journalism, or writing-related field

- 2-5 years' experience as a Legal, Case or Technical Writer preferred but not required

- Business Immigration experience preferred, not required

- Excellent writing and analytical skills

- Superior research skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Dedication to exceptional client service

- Demonstrated attention to detail, flexibility, and initiative

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to contribute to a positive work environment
