## Description

We are seeking a skilled Machining Technician to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Morristown, TN. As a Machining Technician, you will operate machines and production equipment safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Ensure a safe work environment by stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately

- Report incidents, including work-related injuries, illnesses, and hazards

- Adhere to HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations

- Use personal protective equipment consistently

- Promote team safety and environmental awareness

- Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures

- Participate in training and development, and engage in continuous improvement efforts

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience

- Some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience

- Experience operating CNC machines (1 to 3 years)

- Ability to read blueprints, familiarity with measuring instruments, basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail

- Effective communication, courage, results-driven, accountability, health and safety fundamentals, manufacturing knowledge, and valuing differences

**Shift Premium:** $1.00/hr

**Work Arrangement:** 100% On-Site
