## Description

EarnIn is seeking a Head of Machine Learning, India to lead the development and deployment of machine learning systems in India.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience deploying ML at scale, with a strong emphasis on translating research into robust production systems.

Responsibilities:

- Build, manage, and mentor a high-performing team of machine learning engineers

- Own the delivery and impact of ML initiatives, working closely with cross-functional partners

- Lead the design, development, and optimization of ML-based systems

- Drive a culture of scientific and engineering rigor, with a focus on experimentation and evaluation

- Partner with data engineering, product management, and marketing teams to deploy ML solutions

- Establish India as a strategic ML hub for EarnIn

Requirements:

- MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

- 7+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years of people management experience

- Strong depth in core machine learning algorithms and applied ML techniques

- Proven experience building, deploying, and operating production ML systems at scale

- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
