## Description

You will decide what the engineering world knows about Airbnb.

Airbnb's mission is to create a world where people can Belong Anywhere. As part of the cross-functional Tech Operations and Programs team, you will help enable Tech organizations to execute and deliver on high-impact programs and initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Owning the editorial engine and running the Airbnb Tech Blog end-to-end

- Finding cross-team narratives and publishing them as connected sets

- Building voices and helping engineers and technical leaders develop a genuine public presence

- Establishing a canonical home on an Airbnb-owned domain and standing up surfaces like video

- Running external presence, including conference and event strategy, and managing academic collaborations and technical media relationships

- Stewarding open source presence and ensuring accuracy in public claims

- Proving the impact of this work and connecting it to hiring outcomes

You will need to have substantial experience in technical content, developer relations, engineering communications, or technical editorial, as well as technical fluency and editorial judgment.

The ideal candidate will also have:

- Experience migrating a technical publication between platforms

- Experience running or fixing an open source program

- Experience helping a senior executive build a public technical presence

- Familiarity with AI and ML engineering topics, and with academic or research communications

- Video or multi-format content experience
