## Description

Challenge Preparatory Charter School seeks a Secondary Teaching Assistant - ICT for the 26-27 school year. The successful candidate will work with small groups of students to assist in reaching IEP goals, teach, review, and reinforce academic content, and maintain accurate and organized records of student information.

Responsibilities:

- Work with small groups of students to assist in reaching IEP goals

- Teach, review, and reinforce academic content

- Keep accurate and organized records of student information

- Assist in classroom set-up and logistics

- Support student behavioral management and de-escalate challenging behaviors

- Collaborate with families and staff to support student learning

- Ensure student safety at all times

- Supervise students in and out of the classroom

- Provide administrative support for teachers and operations staff

Requirements:

- Dedicated to working in underserved communities

- Committed to culturally responsive pedagogy and relationship-building

- Exceptional patience and focus

- Strong classroom management skills

- Classroom presence

- Detail-oriented and organized

- Bachelor's degree preferred

- Teaching Assistant Certification required
