## Description

Prodrive is seeking a Senior Surface Designer to join their Engineering Vehicle Design group. The successful candidate will provide advanced surfacing expertise across various high-performance motorsport programmes.

Key responsibilities:

- Design aerodynamic and structural surfaces across the vehicle.

- Collaborate with CFD and Structural Analysts to develop and optimise robust surface models.

- Produce concept designs and detailed engineering solutions meeting performance, weight, and cost targets.

- Deliver CAD assemblies and detailed designs within agreed timelines and budgets.

- Release parts and assembly structures onto Bills of Materials.

- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of Bills of Materials throughout the project lifecycle.

- Consider the commercial impact of design decisions on component manufacture and future Bill of Materials costs.

- Support design reviews and continuous improvement activities.

- Liaise with external suppliers and internal departments to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet programme requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline.

- At least five years' experience in a high-performance motorsport design environment.

- Proven expertise in creating high-quality aerodynamic and engineering surfaces.

- Strong understanding of surface development principles and integration requirements.

- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.

- Excellent CAD skills, with Siemens NX and Teamcenter experience an advantage.

- Passion for motorsport, innovation, and engineering excellence.
