## Description

Leidos Dynetics is seeking an Entry Level Defensive Cyber Software Developer to work with a diverse, highly skilled team to develop unique solutions for Cyber, EW, and PNT threats against US weapon systems.

The role involves developing software and techniques to protect data and networks on tactical systems, detect and respond to attacks, and research defensive techniques against adversarial attacks on tactical networks.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, cyber engineering, or a similar degree, experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, Go, Python, and a basic understanding of networking protocols and Linux.

Responsibilities:

- Work with a team to develop software and techniques to protect data and networks on tactical systems

- Develop technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts and deep analysis

- Research and develop signature and behavior-based defensive techniques against adversarial attacks

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, cyber engineering, or similar

- Experience with C, C++, Rust, Go, or similar compiled languages

- Experience with Python or scripting languages

- Basic understanding of networking protocols and Linux

- US Citizenship required

- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance

- Ability to travel to customer sites up to 20% of time

Preferred qualifications:

- Familiarity with Wireshark

- Familiarity with basic cybersecurity concepts

- Experience with Agile and/or Continuous Delivery

- Certifications such as Network+, Security+, CySA+, Linux

The pay range for this role is $57,850.00 - $104,575.00.
