## Description

Join Cisco's Supply Chain team as a Software Engineer and play a key role in designing and developing next-generation AI capabilities. You will work on architectural transformation and modernization efforts, developing and delivering new capabilities using the latest technologies and processes.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver new capabilities using the latest technologies and processes

- Actively develop code, debug, and review with the team

- Work closely with talented engineers and business partners

- Apply agile engineering practices and AI-first mindset

- Participate in delivery of technical design features

- Perform coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting

- Conduct code reviews and address code review feedback

- Execute tests for scale, reliability, and velocity

- Apply depth of knowledge in secure coding principles

- Monitor and triage incident reports

- Share knowledge from independent learning with the team

- Estimate time to complete assignments and communicate status

- Identify paths to eliminate blockers and meet deadlines

- Collaborate with team members to share learnings

- Proactively identify company needs and take actions

- Continuously look to evolve Cisco's technology position

- May serve as escalation point on several topics

- Lead RCA/Post-mortem and write Root-Cause-Analysis

- Become a Subject-Matter-Expert on all topics worked on

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelors + 7 years of related experience OR Masters + 4 years of related experience OR PhD + 1 year of related experience

- Strong analytical skills

- Languages: Python, Java/J2EE, C++, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, XML/XSLT, Oracle PL/SQL

- Automation/DevOps: Git, Jenkins, REST APIs, React JS, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes

- Cloud/Database: AWS (Foundations/Architecting), Oracle 19c and above, Snowflake, Splunk

- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain

- Expertise in usage of Cursor, Git-hub co-pilot, Claude or one of the LLM driven software building techniques

- Expertise in understanding of 'Token' and 'Tokenomics'

- Expertise in prompt engineering

- Knowledge of the workings of LLM, Cosine similarity, embeddings & weights

- Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agentic solutions

- Knowledge of any Oracle E-Business (ERP) suite module

- Knowledge of No-SQL databases, Elastic search, and Kafka

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong executive communications & presentation skills

- Experience in handling diverse stakeholder groups

- Familiarity with cloud services such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Azure

- AWS Professionals, Gen AI Black belt

- Data science green belt, Security green belt

- Docker & Kubernetes

- Certified Scrum Master with a strong Agile mindset

- Enterprise Data management

- Good Time management skills and personal branding awareness

- Excellent Understanding of Supply/Demand Planning, Sourcing, Contract Manufacturing ecosystem and supply chain business

- Experience with REACT, RPA technologies, Oracle, Mongo, Snowflake

- Advanced prompt engineering skills

- Over 5 years of experience with full-stack development, design, and technically leading application development

- Certifications in Java, DB, Cloud, AWS and AI/ML
