## Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at the Budge Clinic - Spine Clinic in Logan, Utah.

As a Medical Assistant at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care.

Responsibilities:

- Provide patient care under the direction of a clinician

- Communicate effectively with patients through various modalities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements:

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or one year of Medical Assistant work experience

- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

- Demonstrated basic computer skills

- Professional manner and strong interpersonal skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with patients and caregivers

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in an outpatient clinic or healthcare setting

- Computer literacy in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

- Current national MA certification

Physical Requirements:

- Ongoing need to see and read information

- Frequent interactions with patients and caregivers

- Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment

- Ability to lift and transfer patients

- Need to walk and assist with transporting patients
