## Description

Priory Hospital Roehampton is seeking a self-employed Consultant Psychiatrist to join their team. This role involves working with patients who face a wide range of mental health challenges. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will assist qualified staff with patient care plans, undertake routine tasks, and provide clinical responsibility for patients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting multidisciplinary ward rounds and risk reviews

- Developing therapeutic milieus and fulfilling the role of Responsible Clinician to patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983)

- Supervising referrals and admissions, and contributing to pre-admission assessments

- Offering psychiatric perspectives to the multidisciplinary team

The ideal candidate will have a CCST/CCT in Psychiatry, experience working in inpatient settings, and be registered with the GMC.
