## Description

We are seeking an Environmental & Safety Professional to support the FAA's Environmental Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) Program. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing support to the FAA's Eastern Service Area, maintaining applicable training and certification requirements as necessary.

The role involves supporting various EOSH programs, including Asbestos, Lead, Mold, Chemical Management, Emergency Response, Electrical Safety, Water, Fuel Storage Tanks, and Fall Protection. You will provide direct support to multi-level customers, write reports with strict deadlines, sample and interpret analytical reports, identify exceedances, climb towers, and provide fall protection training.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing environmental and safety support to the FAA's EOSH Programs

- Conducting site inspections and surveys, and submitting technical reports

- Managing inspections using electronic data and online storage locations

- Researching and interpreting Federal, State, Local, and FAA rules and regulations

- Offering excellent problem-solving and customer service skills

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree and relevant experience

- Environmental, health and safety experience

- Proven experience with various types of EOSH field equipment

- Proficient in obtaining and developing Asbestos samples & reports

- Experience in conducting and developing indoor air quality (IAQ) samples & reports

- Strong in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project

- Reliable vehicle and ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance

Preferred qualifications:

- Undergraduate Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, or similar

- Master Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering

- Certified Safety Professional

- Certified Hazardous Materials Manager

This is a full-time position with remote work and up to 50% travel, primarily based in Boston, MA. The pay range is $59,150.00 - $106,925.00.
