## Job Overview

As a Network Operations Technician, you will operate the growing Starlink Network and the world's largest SuperCompute Datacenter Networks. You will respond to real-time network events, mitigate their impact, and work with engineers to resolve major issues.

## Responsibilities

- Detect and triage anomalies on satellites, ground stations, and network infrastructure

- Manage routine and emergency maintenance performed by SpaceX personnel and partners

- Execute rapid incident response for major network disruptions

- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve common network issues

- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex escalations

- Measure, preserve, and improve the uptime and performance of the Starlink Network

- Follow and improve processes used for operating the Starlink Network

## Basic Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalency certificate

- 1+ year of professional experience in a network, IT, or security setting

## Preferred Skills and Experience

- Ability to take on projects and develop new expertise

- Experience in mission-critical operations with attention to detail and communication

- Industry-recognized technical certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+, CCNA)

- Network troubleshooting using packet captures and device telemetry

- Familiarity with modern networking technologies (connectivity, switching, routing, network services, security)

- Knowledge of common consumer devices and customer interaction experience

- Debugging complex systems using data analysis

- Basic software experience in Python, SQL, Bash, or similar languages

## Additional Requirements

- Availability for daytime on-shift rotations and weekends as needed

## Compensation and Benefits
