## Description

As a Customer Delivery Driver at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders straight to their doorsteps. You will be the face of Sainsbury's at every doorstep you deliver to, making customers feel valued through a thoughtful, friendly, and helpful delivery service.

You will drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries to customers on time and in great condition. You will complete checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean, and organised, and that customers' shopping is secure before setting off. You will follow planned routes and drive safely in a variety of locations, traffic, weather, and road conditions.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver customer orders on time and in great condition

- Complete checks on the van and customers' shopping

- Drive safely and follow planned routes

- Communicate with customers and keep them informed of any delays

- Move containers weighing up to 15kg and deliver shopping to a variety of properties

- Help across the store as needed

Requirements:

- Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers

- Comfortable driving a larger vehicle safely in different locations

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical, and high-energy environment

- Able to use initiative, solve problems, and make safe decisions while out on the road

- Enjoys both working independently and as part of the wider store team

- Flexibility and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges

- Open to learning, developing, and trying new things to improve our service

- Confident learning to use route and delivery technology
