## Description

WSP is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager for its Power & Energy Management Team. The successful candidate will manage technical, schedule, quality, and financial aspects of Power and Energy Transmission Line projects, develop client relationships, and market WSP's Power Delivery services.

**This Opportunity** The role involves project management for high voltage and EHV Transmission Line projects, ensuring responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle are met with a level of quality that meets or exceeds corporate and client standards.

**Your Impact**

- Provide project management leadership for small to large-scale high voltage and EHV Transmission Line projects.

- Develop and foster effective strategies to engage project stakeholders and maintain relationships.

- Provide guidance on pursuit and initiation activities for projects, including 'Go/No-Go' decisions and contract reviews.

- Participate in contract negotiations and client presentations.

- Drive technical reviews, select qualified staff, and ensure adherence to QA/QC plans.

- Manage and provide performance guidance to assigned staff.

- Ensure regular project reporting and updates to clients and stakeholders.

- Complete formal project closeout activities and facilitate lessons-learned meetings.

**Who You Are**

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field within the Power & Energy Market.

- 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within the Power Delivery/Utility Industry.

- 5+ years of experience leading engineering and/or construction teams on medium to large electrical utility scale clients for high voltage and/or extra high voltage transmission line type projects.

- Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools, including contract management, earned value management, risk management, and schedule management.

- Highly proficient in analytical and organisational skills, with business acumen to bridge the business and project management.

- Advanced proficiency in critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Excellent self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and adjusting to changing priorities.

- Ability to elicit cooperation from various sources, including senior management and subcontractors.

- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and adhering to WSP's health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
