## Description

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks a Software Engineering Advisor for their Morris Plains, NJ location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed specifications and designs, conducting assurance reviews of peer application programming, and acting as a technical resource for team members with less experience.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring quality and timeliness of product development, technical design, and solution implementation

- Coordinating with offshore vendors and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct analysis, design, develop, and enhance customized applications

- Creating technical designs and solutions that deliver quality solutions for clients and businesses

- Building batch and online adjustment claim systems

- Partnering with QA teams to resolve solution design deficiencies and related deliverables

- Troubleshooting, maintaining, and developing application and system solutions for business-mandated products and regular operational processes

- Performing impact analysis to resolve user queries, modifying existing applications, and providing support and training to stakeholders as necessary

- Interacting with QA testers to provide necessary information for end-to-end testing

- Performing root cause analysis to identify and fix defects in the Test/Quality environment

- Conducting stress test analysis and reporting any deviations or malfunctions

The role offers a hybrid work schedule.

In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field

- 3 years of experience in a relevant field

- Experience with Mainframes, COBOL, DB2, Teradata, CICS, Pega, GitHub, Endevor, Claude.ai, and AWS Kiro

The salary range for this position is $149,000-$186,100 per year.
