## Description

As a Technical Account Manager at Gusto, you will be the single point of contact for support inquiries, enhancing user experience and serving as a subject matter expert for Gusto's core products.

You will guide customers through new product features, provide proactive customer education and support, partner cross-functionally, and solve problems creatively.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Building trust and rapport with your assigned book of business

- Providing expert support for payroll and benefits inquiries

- Proactively connecting with customers to understand their business and support needs

- Identifying churn risk and delivering solutions to mitigate it

- Partnering with customers and cross-functional teams to address concerns and build understanding

- Thinking creatively and problem-solving across all areas of the business

- Displaying strong product knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape

- Leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate research and communication

Requirements:

- 6+ years of customer experience with 1+ year of full-time experience in Payroll, and 2+ years of account management

- Proven ability to support customers and drive their success

- Ability to synthesize and communicate complex subjects clearly

- Experience with Salesforce, Zoom/Google Meets, Google Suite, and scheduling tools

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Experience with AI-assisted tools in a customer-facing role

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $27.65 to $35.02, depending on location, experience, and expertise.
