## Description

We are seeking a GTSM - Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Barclays.

The successful candidate will support the organisation in achieving its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage the IT Services department and set the strategic direction.

- Provide support to the bank's senior management team.

- Manage IT Service risk across the organisation.

- Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT Services.

- Monitor the financial performance of the IT Services department.

- Manage IT Services projects and drive successful research and product launches.

- Effectively monitor and maintain the bank’s critical technology infrastructure.

**Requirements:**

- Strong experience in Python programming skills.

- Hands-on experience in building, training, and deploying machine learning models.

- Passionate about solving business problems using data-driven approaches and modern AI/ML techniques.

**Technical Skills:**

- Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn)

- Machine Learning: Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost

- Supervised Learning: Linear/Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, SVM

- Unsupervised Learning: K-Means, Hierarchical Clustering, DBSCAN, PCA

- Statistical Analysis & Feature Engineering

- Model Evaluation & Optimization

- SQL and Data Analysis

- Data Visualization and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)

- Deep Learning: TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch

- MLOps: MLflow, Docker, Git, CI/CD

- Cloud: AWS

**Additional Relevant Skills:**

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Understanding of machine learning algorithms and model lifecycle.

- Ability to work with large datasets and translate business requirements into ML solutions.

- Strong learning mindset and passion for AI/ML innovation.

**Education/Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science (preferred).
