## Description

We are looking for an Anti-Cheat Programmer to join our March of Giants team, ensuring a fair and competitive gaming environment for our community.

As an Anti-Cheat Programmer, you will contribute to the prevention and detection of cheating through a dual approach: code strengthening and advanced detection.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement essential anti-cheat technologies directly into the game engine, focusing on code strengthening and client security.

- Integrate and maintain platform-level security functions to enhance defence against cheating.

- Analyse existing cheats with security researchers to understand their functionality and design new protections and detection methods.

- Apply in-depth knowledge of Windows internals and operating system security mechanisms to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure anti-cheat solutions are effective, efficient, and do not negatively impact player experience.

- Debug complex security and performance issues and propose optimal solutions.

- Stay up-to-date on game security trends, reverse engineering, and cheat development to proactively counter emerging threats.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or relevant education).

- Hacker's mindset: natural curiosity to understand system functionality and identify potential compromise points.

- Security expertise: proven experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability analysis, or similar fields.

- Strong C++ skills: confirmed mastery of low-level C++ programming, multi-threading, and memory management.

- Knowledge of Windows internals: in-depth understanding of Windows architecture and APIs, as well as security mechanisms.
