Join Palantir for a year-long internship and contribute to real-world projects. As a software engineer, you'll work on building software and delivering customer outcomes. You'll be part of a team that tackles complex problems and shapes solutions where they matter most.

## The Role

As a Software Engineer Intern, you'll have the opportunity to grow quickly and contribute high-quality code directly to Palantir's products. You'll work in small, agile teams and own the end-to-end execution and implementation of high-stakes projects. You'll have the chance to learn from experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience applying AI.

## Core Responsibilities

You'll have two internship role options: Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) or Software Engineer. As an FDSE, you'll work directly with customers to tackle their most pressing challenges, using your technical expertise and creativity to drive real-world impact. As a Software Engineer, you'll build software at scale to transform how organizations use data.

## What We Value

We're looking for exceptional students who are willing to do work that matters. We care about how you think and what you can build, not just your resume. You should have familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools. An active U.S. security clearance is required for USG roles, but not for all other roles.

## What We Require

To apply, you should be pursuing or have received a degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science. You should also have proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar. Hands-on experience applying AI is a plus.

## Additional Information

The salary range for this position is estimated to be $5,900 - $10,500/month. Total compensation will be determined by each individual's relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
