### About the Team

Meesho is making significant strides towards becoming India's most widely used e-commerce app. The Finance team plays a crucial role in the company's success, and this is an opportunity to join the Meesho success story.

As Deputy Manager - Finance, you will be part of a team of 50+ professionals working in areas such as Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Business Finance, Treasury Management, and Taxation. The team comprises Chartered Accountants, business experts, and engineers who have previously worked for internationally renowned organisations.

### About the Role

We are seeking a Deputy Manager Finance who can enable the scale-up of Supply Chain for Meesho's overall Marketplace platform by providing value-added finance solutions. Meesho's Supply Chain quantum exceeds $500m/annum, and we are the largest customer for all major Supply Chain solution companies in India. Meesho has developed its captive supply chain solution, which is unique and helps transform logistics offerings to sellers. In this role, you will take ownership of the finance operations of this business, working in a fast-paced environment to create new systems and processes while balancing customer needs, competitive landscapes, and strategic priorities.

### Responsibilities

- Cross-functional insight and collaboration: Translate complex analytics into actionable insights for Operations, Finance, Product, and Audit stakeholders, focusing on cost leakage patterns, dispute frequency drivers, and high-risk lanes.

- Develop automated programs to validate invoices raised by external Logistics Partners, critically analyse billing errors, and collaborate with the Operations team to resolve disputes.

- Build and maintain real-time KPI and Control Tower Dashboards by integrating data across TMS, ERP, and external feeds.

- Identify cost optimisation opportunities.

- Technology and automation initiatives: Pilot or integrate smart data capture systems to automate invoice capture, delivery confirmations, and van reconciliation, minimising manual errors.

- Explore RPA or Gen AI agents to process billing disputes, query logistics partners, or flag anomalies automatically.

- Provide innovative finance solutions to business challenges to help debottleneck supply operations.

- Lead a team of 2-4 members and supervise interactions with logistics partners to resolve disputes and other queries.

- Collaborate with Product to strengthen financial controls in the supply chain and automate new use cases.

- Oversee reconciliation of cash collections from delivery agents and investigate and resolve any mismatches.

- Liaise with internal and statutory auditors for the timely closure of audit requirements.

### Requirements

- Chartered Accountant

- Articleship in Big 4 preferred

- 2-3 years of post-qualification experience, primarily in a startup

- Experience in Supply Chain controllership is an added advantage

- Strong business acumen with a financial inclination

- Good understanding of accounting nuances

- Demonstrated experience in business partnering and external stakeholder management

- Strong bias for speed of execution

- Ability to multitask, think critically, and execute tactically

- Proven track record of finding innovative solutions to business problems
