\nThe Waste Management Specialist is responsible for executing radioactive and hazardous waste management activities in compliance with DOE, EPA, DOT, RCRA, and site-specific requirements. This role ensures proper characterization, packaging, documentation, and shipment of waste generated from manufacturing and laboratory operations.
\nThis is a hands-on role working in controlled and radiological environments. In addition to waste management responsibilities, this position provides field support and job coverage for radiological work activities, supporting contamination control, monitoring, and safe execution of work in radiological areas.
\nThe role is critical to maintaining regulatory compliance, safe waste handling practices, and operational support across Standard Nuclear’s facilities.
